  2. This one time, KI and I hosted a Cheese party, in honor of cheese (duh). The funny part is, though, that we emailed everyone to find out if they were available, and then followed up with really cute cheese invitations that said "RSVP we already know you're coming, do don't worry about it." Did we need to send invites? No. But Kristen found such a cute little template in a magazine she just totally went at it. And, they were cute. I still have it on my mirror for fun. :)

  4. OH, and her adoration for and perfection of the British accent, which inspired an email that left me speechless and with a dictionary... it started out like this:

"While my much needed repast hath allowed me time to shed the weights which the world hath set upon me OOOOOH, alas, I say, an evening of listening to British literature on my iPod hath left me with a predeliction to speak in such a manner!"

  5. hahaha!

so i was going to be serious but i feel like i need to follow britt's with something funny...?

i'll stick to somewhat serious: kristen loves dressing up and she plans HUGE and she managed to get a hold of family & friends of mine all over the world (literally) and have them dress up and be a part of a huge bday surprise for me. especially meaningful as so many of my friends truly have become family to me in the different cities that i've lived in.

she truly is one of kind and has a zest for life that is contagious...and also pretty hysterical at times.

    Love you KI!

  8. This one time...Kristen and I were headed to Gravity...again. No judgment please, it was the closest walking distance bar to our apartment. I think this was Pothoff's Christmas party, but nonetheless Kristen was hungry. I told her I would go get a snack with her before we arrived at the bar, but she came up with a better idea. She picked up a pack of rice cakes. Not the mini snack rice cakes, but the big ones with about a five inch diameter. She proceeded to eat them on the go on the way to Gravity, inside Gravity and on the dance floor at Gravity. Kristen passed out rice cakes to other hungry Gravity guests and was of course quite the hit of the dance floor!

  9. There was this one time ... on Catalina Island ...

Kristen, Katie, Alexis, Janie and I were on a Carnival Cruise to Ensenada and Catalina during Spring Break of our senior year in college. On the stop in Catalina, we decided to show off our amazing karaoke skills at a local bar. We get up on stage and begin our performance, each one of us slightly more drunk than the next. Mid song one of us realizes that a creepy older man is lingering near our table ... all of a sudden, he starts taking our purses and running out of the bar with them. We immediately start yelling into the microphones (for everyone in the bar to hear) that a man is stealing our stuff! Reaction time was definitely slow given our intoxication, but we ran off stage one by one and proceeded to hunt down the man with our stuff. We caught him and reported him to the Carnival Cruise authorities. We were SO proud of ourselves and continued to retell this story every chance we got for the last 7 years. My account doesn't do it justice, but the moment just had to be shared ... it was pretty epic.

  10. There was this one time... on Nana's dining room table... you were just a baby. Nana had a rubber duck that she quacked and you had your first laugh - serious laugh - PIETROPAOLO/RAMOS laugh, and every time she quacked the duck, you laughed and laughed and laughed...

  12. This one time....Isaacs came to my church. :-)

But it was just one time. :-(

(Don't worry....she still goes to church. Just not mine.)

But I'm certain -- just for that one Sunday -- the stained glass windows seemed to sparkle with a little more color. I think it was because KI was there.
